DELICIOUS MEAT MEDALLIONS

DELICIOUS MEAT MEDALLIONS are an easy, quick, and very tasty main course, perfect for the whole family, to prepare for lunch and dinner, and they will be ready on the table in just a few minutes.

Every time I make these medallions, it’s a success; they turn out super tender and flavorful with ham and cheese. I always prepare them with the Aia Classic BonRoll, the meatloaf of white chicken and turkey meat, which you can cook in the oven, or as I did, directly in the pan sliced, and in fifteen minutes you serve it at the table.

The Aia Classic BonRoll is the meatloaf for those who love second courses with a delicate flavor, delicious to prepare on holidays or any day of the week. Try cooking it as I did; I’m sure you’ll find it rich and tasty. Follow me in the recipe, and we’ll make it together!

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 people
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 1 Aia Classic BonRoll
  • 1 glass dry white wine
  • 8 slices cooked ham
  • 8 slices caciotta cheese (scamorza works as well)

Steps

  • To prepare the delicious meat medallions, start by cutting the Aia BonRoll meatloaf into about eight slices, all the same thickness of about an inch.

Heat a non-stick pan; when it’s hot, place the slices of meatloaf inside and brown them on both sides. If you use a good non-stick pan, you won’t need to add oil or butter for browning the meat.

  • When the meat is well browned, pour in the white wine and let it evaporate. Then cover with the lid and let the medallions cook over medium-low heat, turning them a couple of times.

When they are cooked, finally place a slice of cheese and ham on top of each meatloaf slice, cover with the lid and let it cook for two minutes on low heat until the cheese has melted. Serve them hot and creamy.
