Mini Coffee Tiramisù, Quick Sweet Treats

The mini coffee tiramisù are delicious treats made with very few ingredients that can be prepared in 10 minutes. Simple to make, delicious, and very quick, they are perfect as a last-minute dessert, require no resting time, and contain no eggs.

After the success of the strawberry version and the mascarpone variant, I propose a revisitation of the classic tiramisù based on ladyfingers, coffee, and mascarpone. I’ve removed the eggs for better preservation during summer, and you can prepare them in just a few minutes and serve them immediately.

Besides being really excellent, they are ideal when you have guests and want to present a quick and beautiful dessert to bring to the table. I used my mascarpone and coffee cream without eggs to fill them, a very simple base I created a few years ago for filling quick desserts.

This year I propose simple and delicious desserts perfect if you have guests or want to prepare a small sweet buffet in a short time. If you like, try them and let me know which one is your favorite version.

Ingredients

  • 20 ladyfingers
  • 8.8 oz mascarpone
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.35 oz instant coffee
  • 0.4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 0.85 cup coffee (slightly sweetened)
  • to taste unsweetened cocoa powder
  • to taste coffee beans (chocolate-covered or other decorations as desired)

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Electric whisk
  • 10 Cupcake liners brown
  • 1 Small bowl
  • 1 Piping bag with star tip

Procedure

  • Dissolve the instant coffee in a small cup with a few tablespoons of hot cream (I heated it in the microwave for 20 seconds), mix it well, and place it in the fridge to cool. After cooling, add it to the remaining cream.

Put the mascarpone in a large bowl, mix it with a spatula to make it softer, add the vanilla, sifted powdered sugar, and cream, mix everything, and whip the mixture with the whisk until you get a dense and fluffy cream.

Be careful not to overwhip it, or it will tend to separate; the cream should remain smooth and silky.

Place it in the piping bag with a star tip and put it in the fridge.

  • For soaking, I use instant coffee dissolved in warm water, I put 4 teaspoons for 200 g, then add a little sugar and let it cool.

Choose the coffee you prefer; soluble, long espresso, or moka coffee all work well.

  • Take a ladyfinger, fill it on one side with mascarpone cream and place another ladyfinger on the cream.

Quickly dip the treat in the coffee to soak the biscuits well, let the excess liquid drain, and place it in the cupcake liner.

Decorate the surface with more cream (creating the decoration you prefer). Finish with unsweetened cocoa and chocolate-covered coffee beans.

Proceed the same way with the other treats; with these quantities, you will get 10.
The mini coffee tiramisù are ready to serve.

Advice

Storage

The mini coffee tiramisù can be stored in the fridge well-covered for 3 days.

I recommend dusting them with unsweetened cocoa only at the time of service.
