The pear and chocolate cake is a dessert that is always very popular in my house for its taste and softness. Perfect for breakfast, it will also be appreciated by the whole family as a snack. Ideal for autumn and winter days, it pairs well with coffee or tea.

Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 5.6 oz Sunflower Seed Oil
- 2 cups Milk (or plant-based milk)
- 3 Pears
- 1 packet Baking Powder
- 1.8 oz Dark Chocolate Chips
- to taste Powdered Sugar

Preparation
To make the pear and chocolate cake, mix the flour with the sugar, add the oil, milk, and eggs. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth; finally, add the baking powder.
Peel and chop one pear and add it to the batter along with the chocolate, then pour everything into a springform pan, 9.5 inches in diameter, buttered and floured.
Slice the other two pears thinly, keeping the peel, and distribute the slices on top of the batter, pressing them down lightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 40 minutes, perform the toothpick test.
Once baked, let it cool, serve on a serving plate dusted with powdered sugar.
