Ingredients for the Chocolate Cake with Soft Heart

  • 7 oz 70% Dark Chocolate
  • 1.5 cups Butter
  • 4 Medium Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1.5 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1.5 tbsp Powdered Sugar

Preparation of the Chocolate Cake with Soft Heart

  • Place the butter and extra dark chocolate in pieces in a pan with a thick bottom and let it all melt over low heat.

Turn off the heat and add the sugar, mixing well, ensuring that the chocolate temperature decreases slightly in the meantime.

At this point, add one egg at a time and mix well until the ingredients are absorbed.

  • Finally, add the flour and continue mixing until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Butter the molds, dust them with cocoa, fill them to 3/4 of the height and bake at 392°F for about 15 minutes.

They will be done when an external crust has formed and the mixture wobbles a bit when moved.

  • Once baking is complete, let them cool, then turn them upside down, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.

When you cut them, you’ll notice that the inside remains creamy and super delicious, enjoy your meal!

My name is Francesca Mele, and "Lo scrigno del buongusto" is the name of my blog. I am a true Abruzzese, and after several years with a cooking website, I decided to start a blog. I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
