Spicy Pork Ribs

Spicy pork ribs are a simple dish to make, yet quite tasty due to the combination of flavors from the spices.
I really love turmeric and it fits perfectly here; I highly recommend making this recipe just as I propose.
The ribs are cooked in a pan, so you don’t need to turn on the oven and they are quite fast to prepare… let’s say that in about an hour you’ll be serving them!!!
If you have time, you can season them a few hours in advance, put them in the fridge, and then cook them at the right time; they will have an extra touch.
If you make any of my recipes, send me the photos and I’ll publish them on my page with your name.
Try it to believe it!!!

  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients for Spicy Pork Ribs

  • 1.5 kg of pork ribs
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp dried bay leaf
  • 1 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Preparation of Spicy Pork Ribs

About an hour before cooking our dish, take the ribs already cut into pieces as per the photo, put them in a bowl, and season them with all the spices listed in the ingredients, including the oil, then mix them well with your hands to flavor them evenly.

Once our ribs are well mixed, put them in the fridge, and when ready to cook, take a non-stick pan, heat it, and add the meat, cooking it over medium heat and covered with a lid, stirring occasionally.

They will cook for about 1 hour and always covered, otherwise they will not cook well inside and will only brown on the outside.
