Abruzzo Anise Cookies

Have you ever tasted Abruzzo anise cookies? Well, I recommend you do, they are just too good!
In Abruzzo, they are commonly used, especially for breakfast and snacks. Making them at home is a unique satisfaction, plus they stay crispy for several days. Just store them in a tin box or a plastic bag.
The anise cookies have a flavor that conquers everyone, young and old. There are no other words to describe them, you just have to try them.
Since the anise is in seeds, I prefer to grind them into a powder because I love the flavor and use it abundantly. However, I don’t like feeling the seeds under my teeth when eating a product that contains it, but it’s a spice I love very much!!!
If you make any of my recipes, send me the photos and I will publish them on my page with your name.
So try making them with my recipe, and then let me know if you liked them!

My name is Francesca Mele, and "Lo scrigno del buongusto" is the name of my blog. I am a true Abruzzese, and after several years with a cooking website, I decided to start a blog. I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
