  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 46 crackers
  • Cooking methods: Electric oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients for Homemade Pizza-Flavored Crackers

  • 4 1/4 oz All-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 1/8 oz Parmesan cheese
  • 5 tbsp Peeled tomatoes (passed through a food mill)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oregano

Tools

  • 1 Cookie cutter cookie cutters

Preparation of Homemade Pizza-Flavored Crackers

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, Parmesan, salt, and mix well. Add the passed peeled tomatoes, oregano, melted butter (it should be quite warm when you add it) and mix everything well until the ingredients are fully absorbed.

Once you have obtained a homogeneous ball, leave it in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for half an hour.

After the time has passed, roll out the dough on a sheet of parchment paper for easier stretching and use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin sheet, considering that they will puff up a little when baked; cut the dough into crackers using cutters.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cut-out crackers on it. I lightly pricked them with a pizza cutter, but you can use a fork or leave them as they are.

My name is Francesca Mele, and "Lo scrigno del buongusto" is the name of my blog. I am a true Abruzzese, and after several years with a cooking website, I decided to start a blog. I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
