The sweet fried puffs of Carnival I thought of starting from a basic dough like choux pastry, but then they are fried and come out quite dry and crispy at the same time.
If desired, they can be filled with cream and become real cream puffs.
We can use them for buffets, birthday parties… we can fill them as we like and they will always be delicious!!!
Make them yourself and you’ll see they will be very successful, and if you don’t taste them right away, you won’t eat them because everyone else will gobble them up.
So let’s get to work and tell me what you think!
You can also find the video recipe link on youtube.
If you make this or any of my other recipes from my blog, feel free to send me your photos and I will post them on my fb page with your name.

- 1/2 cup Water

Preparation of Sweet Fried Puffs
In a saucepan, put 1/2 cup of water with the butter and a pinch of salt, bring to a boil and then add the flour, mix well and turn off the gas.
Let it cool down well, then add the eggs and sugar, the baking powder, and mix everything well.
Heat the oil, once it’s hot, set the flame to medium-low, and create small balls with two teaspoons, letting them drop into the oil, or you can use a piping bag.
Let them cook on both sides, then drain on absorbent paper and afterwards dust with powdered sugar.
