Simple and Tasty Batter Fritters

The simple and tasty batter fritters, are a delicious, quick recipe that everyone loves.
This type of batter is generally used as a base for other fried recipes where I might add vegetables, fish, or other ingredients.
They are really delicious, nothing extraordinary, but then again, fried things are known to be tasty with little effort.
I prefer it this simple because you can taste the flavor of the fried batter, and even though it’s so good, unfortunately, it’s one of those recipes I don’t make very often because fried food, as we know, should be avoided!
Generally, I make this type of fried food for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dinner, where fried food is never missing, but also for the occasional treat throughout the year.

Ingredients for Simple and Tasty Batter Fritters

  • 5 oz cold light beer
  • 10 oz cold water
  • 1 tsp level salt
  • 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • peanut or corn oil for frying

Preparation of Simple and Tasty Batter Fritters

  • Let’s prepare my super tasty batter fritters by putting all the ingredients except the oil in a bowl and mixing well until a dense and smooth batter is obtained.

    Add flour to get a dense and well-blended mixture.

  • In a pan or pot where you usually fry, heat the oil and once it has reached the right temperature for frying, drop spoonfuls of batter into the oil.

    Cook for a few minutes, drain on paper towels and serve hot.
