Air fryer fried pizzas were something I really wanted to try… on the outside they remain very dry, but inside they are very crunchy and very similar to those normally fried.
They puff up inside, are really soft and unlike those fried in oil, these remain good even the next day and do not dry out, or at least they don’t lose their crunchiness.
Many recipes will surely follow, which I will experiment with my new fryer, which I have wanted for a long time, to fry more often, since I rarely fry, in order to obtain a product very similar to classic frying, but lighter.
I hope that with my air frying experiments I can help you decide whether to buy it for those who don’t have it and for those who already have one, to give inspiration for new recipes.
If you make any of my recipes, send me the photos which I will publish on my page with your name.
So follow my recipe and make fried pizzas in a slightly different version.

Preparation of Air Fryer Fried Pizzas
In a large bowl, put warm water with the fresh yeast and let it dissolve, then add half of the flour and knead, then add the salt, oil, and the remaining flour completing the dough.
The dough will be quite soft and not sticky, at this point let it rise covered in a warm place until doubled.
Once risen, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and reshape it into a dough ball that we will divide into pieces of the desired size.
We create the balls with the obtained pieces, I got 10 balls, but if you want smaller pizzas, make smaller balls.
Let them rest for about 1 hour.
At this point, heat the fryer at least 3-4 minutes at 390°F, in the meantime roll out the balls and form the first small pizzas.
Grease the bottom of the basket, place the pizzas (I placed 2 at a time), drizzle with e.v.o. oil and bake at 390°F for about 5 minutes.
I recommend setting the timer to the maximum time to avoid forgetting to reset the minutes between batches, which could cause it to turn off while baking.
Once cooking is complete, place them in a bowl and continue to cook the others in the same way, you’ll see how good they will be!
Serve hot to enjoy them at their best!
