Classic Bread

Homemade classic bread is always a good idea, at least we know how we make it and what we put in the dough, plus, can you imagine the satisfaction!?!
I recommend following my recipe and making your own bread at home, simple and genuine.
With yeast, water, and flour, you’ll see the dough rise before your eyes and to me, leavened products give so much satisfaction… I don’t know about you!
With this dough, you will get 2 loaves of bread and it won’t take too long to make them… let’s say that after a total of 3 hours of leavening, you will bake them!
Then let’s get to work for bread that is soft inside and crunchy outside, and you can easily store them for a few days.
Approximately 1240 Kcal per loaf

Classic Bread
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Cheap
  • Rest time: 2 Hours
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 1 Piece
  • Cooking methods: Bread Machine
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All Seasons

Ingredients for Classic Bread

  • 2 cups Warm water
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 5.75 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Salt

Tools

  • 1 Bread Machine bread machine

Preparation of Classic Bread

  • Take a large bowl or use the mixer and add the warm water, yeast, some flour and start mixing, then gradually add more until you get a non-sticky dough. If you need more flour, feel free to add it.

Measuring with a glass isn’t very precise, so you may need to add more flour as necessary.

Once you have the dough, place it on a floured work surface and knead just enough to create a smooth ball.

Put it in a bowl and let it rise covered with plastic wrap or a cloth for 2 hours in a warm place.

  • At this point, form two loaves as shown in the photo and let them rise on the baking sheet for 1 hour, where you have previously placed parchment paper.

  • Place in a preheated static oven at 428°F for about 45 minutes with a glass of water placed on the lower part of the oven.

I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
