Lemon chicken scallops are very popular at my house… when I have simple chicken fillets and don’t want to make complex and lengthy recipes, they are always the top choice.
The chicken breast floured and cooked in butter is very tender, and if it weren’t for the butter, I would eat tons of them!!!
If you let them cook a little longer, a crust forms on the pan, and my kids fight over it… I think we adults like it too!!!
For a quick and simple dinner, floured chicken breast cooked in a pan is the solution for your meal.
…Then a splash of lemon, and they will be perfect!
If you make this recipe, or others on my blog, feel free to send me a photo of your dish, and if you’d like, I’ll post it on my Facebook page under your name.

Ingredients to make Lemon Chicken Scallops
- 8 slices Chicken breast not too thin
- 1 cup Flour
- 3.5 oz Butter
- to taste Salt
- 1 Lemon
Preparation of Lemon Chicken Scallops
Take a non-stick pan and heat it with the butter cut into pieces; meanwhile, pass the chicken breast through the flour, turning them on both sides.
When the butter has melted, place the slices and cook over medium heat, salting them and turning them in the pan; halfway through cooking, squeeze a little lemon juice on them.
If the liquid reduces a little during cooking, feel free to add a drop of water.
After about 15 minutes, the meat should be well-cooked, but of course, the cooking time also depends on the thickness of the slices.
Once cooked, serve hot, and if you like, spray more lemon to enjoy them better!
