Ingredients to make the Anchovy and Cherry Tomato Swirls

  • 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 7 oz anchovies in oil
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • to taste salt
  • 8 slices smoked provola

Preparation of Anchovy and Cherry Tomato Swirls

  • In a bowl, wash and cut the cherry tomatoes.
In another bowl, place the drained anchovies.
Take the puff pastry, unroll it, spread the slices of provola over the entire surface, then spread the anchovy fillets and finally put the cherry tomatoes all over the pastry, leaving a bit of an edge.
Roll up the pastry from the wide side, helping with the paper that contains the puff pastry in the package, so as to roll it up tightly.
Close the ends well and place it in the fridge with all the paper around it for at least 10-20 minutes.
Prepare the baking sheet with parchment paper, take our roll, cut it into slices about 1 finger thick, place our swirl-shaped slices on the sheet, and cover with aluminum foil.
