These exotic chicken skewers are a different take on the classic ones, the seasoning enhances the flavor so much that it won’t even feel like you’re eating chicken.
I grilled them over charcoal, but they are also excellent in the oven with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
There are truly no words to describe this recipe, other than they are absolutely superb, and in the summer, when we often grill, you will find that once you’ve tried them, you won’t want to be without them!
I usually, when I make them, prepare enough for 3 times, I cook one batch right away and freeze the other two for later meals… yes, I do like having something in reserve.
Follow the recipe and whether you bake them in the oven or grill them over charcoal, the result will be guaranteed.
If you make this or any of my other recipes on my blog, feel free to send me your photos and I will post them on my Facebook page with your name.

Ingredients for Making Exotic Chicken Skewers

- Ground turmeric
- to taste Pepper
- to taste Salt
- to taste Curry powder
- 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
- Skewer sticks
Preparation of Exotic Chicken Skewers
Take the chicken thighs, remove the bones, cut them into strips and then into cubes, place them in a bowl and season with turmeric, pepper, curry powder, a little salt, and extra virgin olive oil. Mix everything well so that the seasoning is absorbed by the chicken.
Take each skewer stick and thread the meat onto them as shown in the photo.
I grilled them over charcoal and I assure you they were exceptional, however, if you want, you can bake them in the oven at 482°F on a baking sheet covered with foil, and towards the end of cooking, remove the foil and finish cooking.
