The apple chips are a delicious idea, a snack healthy and tasty, a light recipe perfect for those on a diet. Making them is really easy because you won’t need a dehydrator, just an air fryer. Choose large and juicy apples, they will be ready in 10 minutes!
Perfect for snacking throughout the day when you crave something sweet or they can also be added to a bowl of yogurt. They can be enhanced, before cooking, with a sprinkle of sugar and/or cinnamon, but they are also fantastic plain!

APPLE CHIPS INGREDIENTS
- 1 apple (large)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)
Tools
- 1 Apple Corer
- 1 Air Fryer
APPLE CHIPS PREPARATION
Wash the apples and remove the core with the appropriate tool, or slice them with a slicer or mandolin and then remove the central core from each slice.
The thickness should be 1/8 inch so they become crunchy when cooking.
Now you can add some ground cinnamon or brown sugar and mix with your hands to season the apple slices.
Place them in the air fryer basket and lay an inverted rack on top to keep them steady while cooking.
Cook at 338°F for 6/7 minutes and then at 374°F for another 3/4 minutes. Check them often as they can burn. It greatly depends on the thickness of the slices, your air fryer, and the type of apple chosen.
Let them cool, and here’s your apple chips ready.
