The piadina burger is a tasty meal that is super quick and super delicious. An alternative to the classic filling of the Romagna piadina.
Everything is cooked in the same pan and you can vary the filling as you like!
This is the classic recipe that I call clever or quick and easy! Try it!
For this recipe, I used the Granpiada Roberto included in the February Degustabox.

PIADINA BURGER INGREDIENTS
- 1 piadina
- 7 oz ground beef
- to taste salt
- to taste chopped parsley
- 2 slices of cheese
- 1 tomato
- to taste lettuce
Tools
- 1 Frying pan
PIADINA BURGER PREPARATION
In a bowl, mix the ground beef (or pork, chicken, etc.) with salt and parsley.
Spread the mixture on a piadina, pressing with your hands to cover the entire surface of the piadina.
Heat a non-stick frying pan on the stove. When it’s hot, place the piadina with the minced meat side down.
Cook, or rather roast, the meat. When it is cooked (choose your desired level of doneness), flip the piadina.
Cook for a few minutes and in the meantime, place the cheese slices on the hot meat so they will melt with the heat.
Now quickly remove from the stove and fill the piadina burger with lettuce and tomato slices. Fold in half and serve!
Adriana’s Tip
You can also add some sauces (mayonnaise, burger sauce, ketchup, etc.) or caramelized onions.
