STALE BREAD PIZZA INGREDIENTS
- 14 oz stale bread
- to taste oregano
- Half glass water (warm)
- Half glass extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella
Tools
- 1 Baking pan
PIZZA PREPARATION
Cut the bread into pieces not too small: about an inch in size.
Put the bread in a bowl and add the warm water a little at a time.
Now add the olive oil and mix/crumble with your hands to better distribute the seasoning and to blend the mixture.
Place the bread in a baking pan of 9-10 inches diameter lined with parchment paper and press down to create the base of your pizza.
Season the pizza with the tomato sauce. Add oregano, salt, and oil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 30 minutes. 10 minutes before the end of baking, add the diced scamorza or mozzarella.
Here is your ready stale bread pizza. Great even cold!
Adriana’s Advice
If you want a crispier bread pizza, use the “grill” mode for the last 5 minutes of cooking. Of course, you can also vary the topping of your pizza!
