- 1.1 lbs melon
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp sugar

Clean and cut the melon into pieces. Put it in a mixer with the sugar. Blend, then add the water last. Taste to see if the flavor is to your liking and adjust the sugar if necessary.
Pour into a plastic or glass container with a lid.
Place in the freezer. Every 30 minutes, stir to prevent ice crystals from forming. It will take about 4 hours to reach a creamy consistency.
Once the granita has reached the desired consistency, pour into bowls or glasses and enjoy.
To your liking, you can customize your granita with the addition of some flavoring or coconut flakes.
