Light Cake with Cocoa and Apricots

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet baking powder for desserts
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 apricots
  • as needed granulated sugar

Notes

It keeps for sure for 3 days, stored in a cake container.

Of course, you can use other seasonal fruits and aromas you prefer (for example, the classic apple-cinnamon combination, pears and walnuts, or no fruit and just vanilla or citrus aromatization… Feel free to get creative!)
