NO-BAKE PANDORO ZUCCOTTO

The pandoro zuccotto is a no-bake dessert with a great impact, easy and quick to prepare.
It is an original way to serve a typical Christmas holiday dessert: the pandoro. Very scenic, yet super easy to make!

NO-BAKE PANDORO ZUCCOTTO INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Pandoro
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 5 espresso cups Coffee (sweetened)
  • 100 g Sugar
  • to taste dark chocolate chips
  • to taste Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • to taste Rum

  • 1 Mold ZUCCOTTO
  • 1 Electric whisk

NO-BAKE PANDORO ZUCCOTTO PREPARATION

  • Prepare the mascarpone cream by mixing mascarpone, sugar, and 2 cups of coffee with an electric whisk.

  • Line the mold you chose for your zuccotto with plastic wrap, cover well with slices of pandoro about 0.75 inches thick and lightly soak them with cold coffee and a bit of rum.

  • Take half of the cream. Inside, pour a layer of mascarpone cream and a few dark chocolate chips, another layer of soaked pandoro, then mascarpone cream again.

  • Close with pandoro slices. Let the pandoro zuccotto chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  • Unmold and flip the zuccotto onto a plate and cover and brush with the remaining mascarpone cream

  • Decorate with a nice dusting of unsweetened cocoa.
