Ingredients
- 18 oz carrots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp acacia honey
- to taste salt
- 1 piece orange (zest)
- 1 piece lemon (zest)
- 2 tbsp Gusto Toscano onion tears
- 4 sprigs lemon thyme

Steps
Peel the carrots, trim the ends and slice them on the diagonal. Place them in a bowl and season with the oil, salt, honey, the onion tears (or a good balsamic vinegar), and the grated orange and lemon zest. Mix well to distribute the seasoning and transfer the carrots to a microwave-safe baking dish. Add the garlic and the lemon thyme. Cover with microwave-safe plastic wrap and cook at 750W for 12 minutes. If your microwave doesn’t have 750W you can cook at 800W. If you prefer to cook in the oven, preheat to 392 °F, cover with aluminum foil and bake for about twenty minutes.
