SUPER QUICK SAVORY PIE WITH OLIVES AND SPECK, a simple and delicious one-dish meal perfect for dinner, great as an appetizer to prepare in no time, no rising needed.
The savory pie with olives and speck is one of my favorites because it combines the simplicity of quick recipes without puff pastry with the rustic flavor of the ingredients. The green or black olives give that irresistible savory note, while the crispy speck releases its aroma during cooking.
It’s a true tasty recipe for savory buffets, perfect to serve in slices as a quick rustic appetizer, but also as a savory pie for dinner when you want something different from the usual. I often make it when I’m short on time and want to bring a dish to the table that everyone, both adults and kids, will enjoy.
You can easily customize it: add melty cheese, replace speck with ham or bacon, or enrich the dough with vegetables like zucchini or spinach. So you’ll have a different quick homemade savory pie each time, but always delicious.
Another advantage is that it’s easy to transport, making it ideal as a takeaway recipe for picnics, outings, or office lunches. In short, the savory pie with olives and speck is one of those go-to recipes you’ll never tire of making.
