- 8 eggs
- 2 slices cooked ham (or roast)
- 2 slices Emmental (or scamorza or provolone or to taste)

- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (light and optional)

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE MINI EGG BURGER RECIPE quick and tasty appetizer
Clearly, first I have to hard boil the eggs, so I put them in cold water and let them simmer for 8/9 minutes from boiling.
I turn off the heat and let them cool by changing the water and immersing them in cold water.
Now that they are manageable, I remove the shell and cut them lengthwise in half and proceed to fill them, creating small egg burgers to fill.
To complete this easy finger food with eggs , I cut the cooked ham into small circles (I used a shot glass I have at home), the chosen cheese and wash and pat dry the basil leaves with paper towels.
Now I proceed to fill the half hard-boiled eggs by putting a slice of cooked ham then a slice of cheese then a dollop of mayonnaise then the basil and then the other half egg, joining everything with a toothpick.
Add a pinch of white or black sesame seeds as you like, cover with plastic wrap until it’s time to serve!
