There was a package of puff pastry left in the fridge, and for lunch, I thought of making some puff pastry crackers with seeds mixed with sesame and poppy seeds, quick and appetizing little things.
It’s a super-fast pseudo-recipe that we can vary in 3 million ways!

FOR THE PREPARATION OF PUFF PASTRY CRACKERS WITH SEEDS RECIPE
I unroll the ready puff pastry package and with a toothed or smooth wheel, I trace rectangles about 0.6/0.8 inches along the length.
In a glass or a small bowl, I mix the yolk with a tablespoon of water and with a kitchen brush I cover all the puff pastry strips.
I preheat the oven to 375°F in static mode and sprinkle all the pastry with the seeds, personally I love both sesame and poppy so…
At this point, we can do whatever we want with them… little spirals, palmiers or prussians, twisted breadsticks, rustics… free your imagination!
Before baking, I added a pinch of grated Grana cheese on top of each mixed seed puff pastry, but it is not mandatory!
You can also add a mix of semi-aged grated cheeses or some julienne mozzarella that you have left in the fridge from previous recipes!
After a short bake of 10/15 minutes, I let them cool down, and with a non-alcoholic aperitif, some green olives, a few slices of salami, I prepared myself a snack for lunch!
Bon appétit! Annalisa
