Tools for BASIL SAVORY PASTRIES RECIPE

  • Parchment Paper
  • Knives
  • Forks

PREPARATION FOR BASIL SAVORY PASTRIES RECIPE

  • I unroll the puff pastry keeping the parchment paper and piercing it with the tines of the fork.

I arrange the cheese slices covering the entire surface of the pastry.

  • I add fresh basil broken into pieces with fingers and then place the cooked ham slices on top.

I roll the filled pastry very tightly and place the roll in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

  • I preheat the oven to 340°F static mode and start cutting the stuffed pastry slices with basil.

Then I unroll the filled puff pastry tube and cut pinwheels about 3/4 inches more or less, then place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • I sprinkle each slice with Parmesan (I had to finish a package of raspadura and went randomly overboard though) and bake for about 25 minutes or according to our home oven.

    Enjoy! Annalisa
