- 1.75 lbs potatoes (small, round or similar type)
- 2 tbsps butter
- 1 tsp curry (level, not heaping)
- 1 pinch salt
- 0.7 oz cheese (grated)
Tools
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Teaspoon
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Crispy Plate
- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 Knife
Steps
To prepare the Butter and Curry Potatoes in the Microwave, first clean the potatoes thoroughly as they will be used with the skin.
Wash and dry them.
Slice them thinly. If necessary, you can use a mandoline instead of a knife, with great care.
Put them in a bowl.
Melt the butter in the microwave in a suitable container.
Pour the butter over the potatoes, add the grated cheese, a pinch of salt, and the level teaspoon of curry. Mix very well.
Distribute the potatoes on the microwave-safe plate, covering the entire base well, trying not to overlap them.
Cook at the highest temperature in the microwave for 11 minutes divided into two sessions.
You can add a minute to the cooking time if you want crunchier potatoes.
Oven Cooking Suggestion
For oven cooking, proceed exactly as above and, after spreading the potatoes in a suitable tray, bake them at 392°F for 12-15 minutes in a fan oven. When they have a nice golden color, they are ready.
