The Super Soft Pear Cake is an Italian classic like the apple cake.
Ideal for breakfast or a snack.
Pantry cakes are all those homemade preparations that were traditionally kept in the pantry.
Tarts, plumcakes, bundt cakes etc… are considered pantry cakes because they are very simple recipes to make and require few ingredients easily found at home.

Steps for Super Soft Pear Cake
To bring this dessert to the table, start by beating the eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer at maximum speed for at least 10 minutes, until they are light and fluffy.
Add the butter, flour, and baking powder, continuing to beat until you get a smooth mixture.
Line a 20 cm (8 inch) springform pan with parchment paper or alternatively butter and flour it, and pour the cake batter inside. Peel the two pears with a vegetable peeler, remove the ends, and cut them into wedges.
Distribute them in the batter, pressing down only halfway into the pear.
Place the pear cake in a preheated static oven at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes. Always perform the toothpick test to see if it is ready; if it comes out moist, extend the baking time by another 5 minutes.
Once the cake is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely before removing from the pan and dusting with powdered sugar.
