The creamy bucatini with feta and cherry tomatoes is a simple first course recipe WITH ONLY 2 INGREDIENTS and quick because you just need to sauté yellow and red cherry tomatoes in a pan, add a nice block of Greek feta cheese and at the same time boil the pasta in salted boiling water, then combine the two preparations and the dish is ready to be eagerly enjoyed with a sprinkle of dried oregano!
I confess that I eyeballed the ingredients because these ingredients go perfectly together, and 10 grams more or less won’t make it less tasty!
I also used cherry tomatoes, which are sweeter than other tomatoes, and I always have a good stock in the fridge to prepare fresh summer mixed salads with the addition of cheeses like primosale, boiled eggs, tuna!

Ingredients for creamy bucatini with feta and cherry tomatoes
- 10.5 oz cherry tomatoes (I used mixed yellow and red)
- 7 oz feta
- 7 oz bucatini
- to taste dried oregano
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- to taste chili flakes

Steps
1) Wash and cut into wedges the yellow and red cherry tomatoes and place them in the baking pan just oiled with extra virgin olive oil;
2) Also add the whole or crumbled Greek feta (softening times vary but nothing else) and season with lots of oregano and little pepper and salt: pay attention to the saltiness because the Greek feta has a strong and pungent flavor!
3) Bake the dish for the creamy bucatini recipe cooking the cherry tomatoes and softening the feta for about 15-20 minutes.
4) Slowly the typical Greek cheese feta will become tender and the cherry tomatoes will start releasing their juice.
5) In the meantime, put a pot of salted water on the stove and when it boils, add the pasta cooking it al dente and draining it slightly moist;
6) pour it immediately into the baking dish and adjust the salt and pepper, tossing and seasoning it with chili flakes, the cherry tomatoes and feta.
7) The creamy bucatini with red and yellow cherry tomatoes and feta is a first course very tasty with an inviting and savory flavor to bring immediately to the table to enjoy in good company!
