Stuffed Baguette

An easy idea for a savory appetizer that you can fill as you like… Here’s the stuffed baguette with a tasty filling that you can vary in many ways with fluffy and delicious tuna mousses, with mortadella.

It’s the classic recipe you can make in advance and slice just before serving at the table!

STUFFED BAGUETTE

Ingredients for STUFFED BAGUETTE

  • 1 baguette
  • 12 oz Russian salad
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 5 oz robiola (Or creamy cheese)
  • to taste Olives
  • to taste desalted capers
  • to taste Salami Milano
  • to taste Parsley

Preparation

  • Cut the baguette into 3 pieces. Hollow it out by removing the inner crumb.

  • In a bowl, mix the Russian salad with the cheese, chopped hard-boiled eggs, chopped olives, and capers.

  • Proceed now to fill the slices of baguette and wrap them in plastic wrap. Place them in the fridge for an hour.

  • Slice them into pieces about 1/2 inch thick. Decorate the top of each slice with a 1/4 slice of Salami Milano and a washed and dried parsley leaf, securing everything with a toothpick.

    Enjoy your stuffed baguette!
