Blackberry Panna Cotta with Only Three Ingredients

Blackberry panna cotta with only three ingredients, fresh, easy, and quick to make, without a thermometer.

In this case, it is not necessary to use a thermometer because just keeping the cream from boiling by maintaining a low flame will suffice.

One of my favorite summer desserts!

For this recipe, you can also use agave syrup to sweeten the blackberries, but it’s an optional step. Alternatively, you can also use liquid cane sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp gelatin sheets
  • 3/4 cup blackberries
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (optional)

Tools

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Small Pot
  • 1 Hand Whisk
  • 1 Spoon
  • 4 Small Glasses

Steps

  • To make the Blackberry Panna Cotta with only three ingredients, first wash and dry the blackberries thoroughly.

Soak the gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water.

  • In a small pot, gently heat the cream over low flame.

Stir often with the hand whisk.

When it is warm enough, remove the pot from the heat and add the well-strained gelatin to the cream.

Stir for a couple of minutes to dissolve it well.

Then add 1/3 cup of chopped blackberries to the panna cotta.

    Stir again.

  • Pour the panna cotta into the small glasses and let it rest for 2 hours in the refrigerator.

  • With the help of a blender, puree the remaining blackberries for the topping.

If you want a more fluid cream, you can add the agave syrup, but it’s not necessary.

    Garnish the cups.

  • Let it rest in the refrigerator for another 60 minutes or until ready to serve.
