Carnival Waffles without butter, very soft, with natural food coloring to make the most beloved children’s party even more joyful.
Very easy to make, this recipe is a fun reinterpretation of the classic honeycomb-shaped sweet waffles. Fragrant and delicious, you can try the Waffles in my savory version.
To make them more colorful, I added drops of food coloring directly into the ladle before pouring it onto my mini griddle, previously oiled and heated.
These waffles, not being excessively sweetened, are also great to fill with spreads or with maple syrup or honey, and they are also beautiful to decorate with chocolate drizzles and colorful sprinkles.

Steps
To make the Carnival Waffles without butter, work the eggs with the sugar in a large bowl using a hand whisk for a couple of minutes.
Add the milk, sunflower oil, and continue mixing.
Then add the flour, the tip of a teaspoon of baking powder, and continue to blend the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Heat the waffle griddle slightly oiled on both sides.
Add a drop of coloring to the ladle of batter and pour it onto the griddle.
Close and proceed with cooking.
With my griddle, just wait for the red light to turn off to know it’s hot.
Once the waffles detach easily, they are ready to be removed.
Continue adding the coloring each time until the cooking process is complete, and finally decorate the waffles as you prefer once cooled down.
