- 70 g sunflower seed oil
- 70 g granulated sugar
- to taste colored sprinkles
- 70 g dark chocolate
Tools
- 1 Mold
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Spoon
- 1 Baking tray
- 1 Electric whisk
Steps
To make the gluten-free donut muffins glazed with dark chocolate, in a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar for two minutes, until you get a fluffy and airy mixture.
Add the rice flour, sunflower seed oil, and the teaspoon of gluten-free baking powder. Continue mixing with the electric whisk. I added some colored sprinkles to the batter, but you can skip this step if you’re unsure they’re gluten-free.
Pour the batter into the slightly moistened mold with water and bake in the middle of a preheated fan oven at 356°F for 30 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing the donuts from the mold.
Melt the chocolate in a water bath or microwave in a bowl. Dip the bottom part of the donuts, the part in contact with the mold, in the melted chocolate, place the donuts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and decorate with the chosen sprinkles before the chocolate solidifies.
Store the donuts in a cool place away from light and heat sources. They will stay soft for several days in airtight containers.
