For this version of my porridge, I used two ingredients new to me but quite well-known, oat bran and cocoa soy milk, a light lactose-free drink.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 2/3 cup soy milk (with cocoa)
  • 5 blueberries
  • 3/4 oz cereal mix (granola)
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup

Steps

  • To prepare the Hot Porridge with Soy Milk, Cocoa, and Oat Bran, first place the oat bran in a small pot.

  • Add a tablespoon of agave syrup or another sweetener to taste.

  • Pour the cocoa soy drink and turn on the stovetop.

  • Stir constantly, on low heat, until you obtain a creamy consistency.

    Decorate the hot porridge with granola on top and fresh blueberries.
