Mediterranean Bruschetta

Mediterranean Bruschetta, a really easy and tasty recipe to make for sharing an evening with company.

In this idea, I use fresh but ready pesto, but you can customize it with homemade or your favorite dressing.

For once, I wanted to make it simpler than expected, and I shared my summer idea here on the blog.

Below, I leave you other super tasty ideas to bring to the table.

  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 servings
  • Cooking methods: Grill
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All Seasons

Ingredients

  • 4 slices white bread
  • 1 burrata
  • 12 sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 1.4 oz pesto (to taste)
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil (Optional, for the pan)

Tools

  • 1 Pan

  • To prepare the Mediterranean Bruschetta, first, toast the slices in a pan on one side.

If you want, you can add a drizzle of oil in the pan.

  • Cut the burrata into 4 parts.

  • Spread a thin layer of pesto on the bruschetta.

  • Spread the burrata, adding a few pieces, on the pesto.

  • Add some drained sun-dried tomatoes. I added three per bruschetta.

  • Garnish with a few basil leaves and serve immediately.
