- 6 slices cooked ham
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (to brush the surface)
Tools
- 1 Brush
- 1 Baking tray
- 1 Parchment paper
- 1 Knife
Steps
To make the Puff Pastry Strudel with Cooked Ham and Cheese, roll out the puff pastry sheet onto its own parchment paper.
In the center, create a base with half of the cheese slices.
Alternate layers of cooked ham with the remaining cheese, always staying in the center of the pastry.
Place in the baking tray along with the parchment paper.
Close the savory strudel by overlapping the sides.
Seal them well, close the ends and make delicate cuts on the surface, as shown in the photo.
You can brush the surface with beaten egg yolk or extra virgin olive oil.
Bake in a pre-heated ventilated oven at 356°F for 35-40 minutes.
When golden, remove and let rest for a few minutes before cutting.
