Sweet Dove Without Leavening

Sweet dove without leavening and without butter in the dough, soft and delicious, with all the scents of classic doves.

A simple recipe to make perfect for breakfast on holidays and not only, also great to make in disposable dove molds or in classic 9.45 inch cake pans.

Below, I leave you instead the recipe for the long-leavening dove.

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup sunflower oil
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 vial almond flavor (Or to taste)
  • 1 vial orange flavor
  • 3 tbsps potato starch

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Mold

Steps

  • To prepare the Sweet Dove Without Leavening, in a bowl work the eggs with the sugar.

    Add the milk and sunflower oil.

    Instead of the latter, you can use the same quantity of melted butter.

  • Add the flavors and mix.

  • Now add the powders, starting with the potato starch.

  • Continue by adding the flour and baking powder.

  • Mix.

  • Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold and level.

  • To taste we can decorate the surface with granulated sugar and dark chocolate chips. A great idea would also be to use the chocolate from Easter eggs.

  • Bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 356°F for 30 minutes, doing the toothpick test to check for doneness.

    If it comes out dry, the Sweet Dove Without Leavening is ready.
