Close and shape the dough into a small cone about 2 inches high: this will be the base of your sweet pinecone.
If the cones are too soft, place them in the fridge for 10 minutes.

  • Coat the cone with the chocolate cereals, starting from the bottom, pressing them lightly so they adhere: they will give the pinecone effect.
Dust with powdered sugar for the “snowy pinecone” effect and serve.

… Vane’s tips

You can also use plain dry cookies + 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.

If you want an even more realistic pinecone effect, alternate small and large cereals.

Store them in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Perfect to give as gifts: put them in paper cups or in a transparent Christmas box.
