Ingredients
- 1.6 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cups granulated sugar
- 0.5 cups brown sugar
- 8.5 tbsp butter (at room temperature)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 cups dark chocolate chips
- 0.5 cups milk chocolate chips
- as needed hazelnut cream
Steps
To prepare the double chocolate cookies, place the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and room temperature butter cut into cubes in the mixer bowl. Turn on the mixer to blend everything until you have a smooth mixture.
Now add the egg, flour, and baking soda, turn on and knead until you have a smooth dough, transfer the dough to the table, add the chocolate chips, and knead by hand to incorporate the chips into the dough.
Take pieces of dough slightly larger than a walnut, flatten them, place a teaspoon of hazelnut cream in the center, and close to form a ball. Do this with all the dough and place the balls slightly apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 320°F for about 20-25 minutes. Once the cookies are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool on a rack.
