Quick and absolutely delicious, POTATO AND SMOKED SALMON CANAPÉS, an easy and quick recipe to make a tasty and different Christmas appetizer, because we use potato slices as the base for these canapés. The potatoes are first grilled and seasoned, then topped with smoked salmon, a very simple but truly appetizing dish. You will impress everyone at Christmas by bringing this appetizer to the table, you prepare it in no time and it will make your Christmas menu even better.

Ingredients

  • 1 potato (large, if small 2)
  • 3.5 oz Re Salmone di La Nef
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste parsley
  • to taste pink pepper

Steps

  • To prepare the canapés, start by peeling the potato, use a large one, if you don’t have one, two small ones will do. Wash the potato, dry it, and then cut it into thin slices about 1/8 inch thick. Now that the slices are ready, heat a grill pan on the stove.

  • When the grill is hot, place the potato slices on it, then cook them on both sides to create the classic grill marks. Once all the slices are grilled, season them with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pink pepper, and freshly chopped parsley.

  • Place the slices on a plate and top them all with a small slice of Re Salmone di La Nef, add more chopped parsley and pink pepper to taste. Serve the canapés at the table, they are delicious to taste warm or cold.
