Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 7 tbsps sunflower seed oil (extra virgin olive oil is also fine)
  • 3 tbsps grated Parmesan (Pecorino Romano is also fine)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 9 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 70 g scamorza (sliced)
  • to taste sesame seeds

Steps

  • Preparing this instant focaccia is very simple, start by putting all the liquid ingredients in a bowl, then eggs, milk, and oil, and mix well with a hand whisk.
    Add the Parmesan and salt and mix again to season well.

  • Add the flour and yeast to the bowl and work everything with a whisk or a fork to obtain a soft and homogeneous mixture.

    Take a mold, line the inside with baking paper, and pour half of the mixture inside. Fill the base by placing the slices of scamorza and ham, cover with the remaining mixture, and finish with a little sesame seeds.

  • Bake the focaccia in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 30-35 minutes; it should rise and become soft. Let it cool before serving and bring it to the table.
