BEER DONUTS
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 7/8 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 7 oz lager beer
- 7 oz extra virgin olive oil
- as needed sugar
Steps
To make beer donuts, first take a bowl and mix the beer, sugar, and oil.
Stir a little and start adding the flour a little at a time, also add the baking soda.
Start kneading until you get a soft and homogeneous dough that does not stick. You may not need all the flour. You can also add almond or hazelnut grains if you like.
Break off pieces of dough, make sticks and form donuts.
Roll them in granulated sugar on one side only.
Then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 340°F for about 15 minutes.
Do not worry if the donuts seem soft when freshly baked. They will harden perfectly once cooled.
Let them cool slightly, then serve your donuts
