CREAMY SHELLS WITH SAUSAGE

Ingredients

  • 11 oz pasta (Shells)
  • 7 oz cream cheese
  • 7 fl oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 onion
  • 7 oz sausage
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste chopped parsley
  • 1 glass white wine

  • To prepare this tasty first course, first cook the pasta in plenty of salted water for the time indicated on the package.

    Meanwhile, in a pan, sauté the finely chopped onion until tender.

    Add the crumbled sausage and, after a couple of minutes, deglaze with a glass of wine. Once it has evaporated, add the tomato sauce.

    Cook over medium heat and let reduce for a few minutes.

    Remember to season with salt at this stage.

    Shortly before draining the pasta, incorporate the cream cheese like Philadelphia into the sauce and mix well.

    Drain the pasta well and toss it in the pan for a few minutes, just enough time to blend the flavors.

    Serve on plates and optionally top with a sprinkle of parsley for a fresh note. In my case, I didn’t use it and it was still delicious 😋.
