  • 5 oz gorgonzola
  • 5 oz smoked scamorza
  • 5 oz Edam

  • 4.2 cups milk
  • to taste salt
  • to taste nutmeg
  • 7 oz mozzarella

Steps

  • FOUR CHEESE LASAGNA

  • For this tasty four cheese lasagna, we need to start with preparing the béchamel sauce.

In a pot, melt the butter, being careful not to let it boil.
Pour all the flour at once into the melted butter, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

When the flour is well mixed with the butter, remove the pot from the heat and add the hot milk gradually, continuing to stir.
Add a pinch of nutmeg, salt, and pepper to taste.
Return to the heat and continue stirring with a whisk until the béchamel thickens, then remove from the heat.

Take the lasagna sheets and briefly dip them in boiling salted water with a little oil to prevent sticking.
Lay the sheets on a cloth, continuing this way until all the pasta is done.
Now it’s time to assemble all the ingredients to prepare the cheese lasagna.
Cut the cheeses into cubes; you can use any cheese you have in your fridge.
Take a baking dish, butter it, and pour a layer of béchamel on the bottom.

Start layering the pasta, alternating with layers of cheese, grated Parmesan, and béchamel. Continue until all pasta and cheese are used, ending with a layer of béchamel, mozzarella, some cheese chunks, and Parmesan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F for 35-40 minutes, always checking to ensure a nice golden crust forms on the surface.
Once cooking is complete, let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
