POTATO HEARTS

  • To prepare our hearts, first peel the potatoes and slice them about 0.4 inches thick.

With a heart-shaped cutter, cut the potato slices, make many hearts and put them in a bowl with cold water until you have finished cutting all your potato slices.

Drain them, dry them with paper towels and season with oil, pepper, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.

    Preheat the oven to 392°F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the potato hearts. Do not place them too close to each other; leave some space.

Depending on your oven and the size of the potatoes, bake for about 30-40 minutes, until golden brown.

ADVICE

When buying potatoes, make sure they are not too small. Consider the size of the heart-shaped cutter you have.

With the leftover potato pieces after cutting the shapes, you can make delicious mashed potatoes, or bake them as well, or prepare delicious fries.
