SAUCE WITH PORK RIBS

  • 1 liter tomato puree
  • 1.8 lbs pork ribs (Ribs)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 glass red wine
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Steps

  • Sauce with pork ribs
  • To prepare your sauce with pork ribs, first clean the onion, peel the carrot, and remove the strings from the celery. Chop finely and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the oil and brown the pork ribs over moderate heat until they are golden brown on all sides

When the ribs are evenly browned, add the previously prepared chopped mixture to the pan and let it turn golden, then pour in the white wine and let it evaporate.

Pour in the tomato puree, add two glasses of water, and adjust with salt and pepper.

Cover the pan leaving a small opening by placing a wooden spoon on one side of the pan, and let it cook over low heat for about 1 hour, allowing the sauce with pork ribs to become well-flavored, and the meat attached to the bone to soften enough to fall off the bone.

Check from time to time that the sauce hasn’t dried out too much, and if necessary, add a little water!

Your sauce with pork ribs is ready to flavor your dishes! Great for dressing pasta, rice, or polenta 😋
