Air Fryer Chicken Delights

The air fryer chicken delights are a really tasty and delightful main course, and with air frying, cooking times are reduced, achieving great results.

Of course, cooking times vary depending on how much product you put in the fryer basket; in my case, it was full, so it takes a little longer, but if you put in less meat, the times will considerably reduce.

The chicken used are mini drumsticks and very small wings, sold in pre-portioned packs.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Chicken Delights

  • 2 lbs mini chicken legs and drumsticks (about 15 pieces)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tsp extra virgin olive oil (for preparation)
  • to taste thyme
  • lemon (for serving)

Preparation of Air Fryer Chicken Delights

  • Put the 4 tsp of e.v.o. oil on one plate and the breadcrumbs on another, brush the chicken with the oil and then coat it in the breadcrumbs. Once prepared, prepare the air fryer with foil and parchment paper or cook in contact with the basket if you prefer.

  • Place the chicken in the fryer, sprinkle with salt, a small dash of pepper, and cook at 392°F for 30 minutes.

    After that time, turn the chicken over with tongs, sprinkle with thyme, and continue cooking for another 10-15 minutes.

  • As mentioned above, if you use less product, a complete cooking will take 25-30 minutes.

    Serve hot with a dash of lemon and enjoy your meal.
