Bruschetta with Sausage

The bruschetta with sausage is my favorite, along with the one topped with tomato, and especially in the summer, any occasion is good to make bruschetta topped in every way.
This type of topping used on bruschetta is typical of my area in Abruzzo, and even when you go to a pizzeria, it’s hard not to find it.
In Abruzzo, you can find many similar appetizers, and I recommend trying them if you happen to visit this region where the food, in my personal opinion, reaches very high levels in quality and authenticity.
Of course, if you make it with high-quality sausage mix, the recipe will greatly benefit.
This bruschetta is a good appetizer but also a dinner saver, as we can use it as a main dish accompanied by a rich vegetable side dish.
You can easily make this version either in the oven or on the grill, a great alternative for winter days when you can’t light the barbecue.
If you make any of my recipes, send me the photos, and I’ll publish them on my page with your name.
So prepare this Abruzzese specialty and let me know if you liked it.

My name is Francesca Mele, and "Lo scrigno del buongusto" is the name of my blog. I am a true Abruzzese, and after several years with a cooking website, I decided to start a blog. I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
