The chocolate chip pound cake is always a well-appreciated dessert, and personally, I love it especially for the chocolate chips or dark chocolate chunks.

A simple dessert, easy to make, ideal for breakfast and snacks.
You can use common granulated sugar or brown sugar for a more intense flavor.
Depending on personal preferences, you can also use white or milk chocolate, but I always opt for dark chocolate.

Ingredients for the Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 oz dark chocolate chips
- cup sugar
- cup sunflower oil
- 2 eggs (medium)
- cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp rum
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 packet vanillin
- oz powdered sugar

Preparation of the Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
In the stand mixer, put the eggs and sugar and beat for a few minutes, then add the other ingredients, mixing at low speed, and lastly, add the chocolate chips, making sure to mix them first in a small bowl with a tablespoon of flour before adding them to the batter.
Mixing the chocolate chips with flour helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom during baking.
Grease and flour a pound cake pan, pour the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes, checking for doneness.
