The fish spinach patties are really a good main course, but have you ever made spinach patties with fish?
They are certainly substantial, but being fish, they are lighter and healthier.
I used cod to make these patties, but you can easily substitute it with similar fish.
I recommend using fresh spinach or pre-cleaned bagged spinach as I did, and if you buy the pre-cleaned ones, wash them even if it says they have been washed, because to bag them in that way and keep them for days, there is always something.
Frozen spinach cubes will also work, just consider that they weigh a bit more when frozen, so you need to adjust accordingly.
Now we just need to make our delicious fish spinach patties.

Preparation of Fish Spinach Patties
First, take the cod fillets, well-drained of water residues, cut them into pieces, and put them in the food processor with the chopping blade, add the spinach and blend well until finely chopped.
At this point, transfer the mixture into a bowl, adding salt, pepper, the egg, and breadcrumbs, and mix everything well using your hands.
Next, form oval balls and then flatten them to give the classic patty shape.
Prepare two bowls, one with beaten eggs and the other with breadcrumbs.
Dip our patties first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the patties on it.
Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil, lightly sprinkle with salt, and bake in a preheated oven at 464°F (240°C) for about 30 minutes, checking the cooking.Follow me onFacebookPinterestTwitterInstagramYoutubeTelegram
