Flavorful bread is quite simple to make, it’s a basic bread dough but with the addition of oregano, extra virgin olive oil, and garlic.
In the photo, the seasoning isn’t very visible, but I can assure you it’s truly good and very tasty.

Ingredients to Make Flavorful Bread
- 3 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 7 1/2 oz lukewarm water
- 2 teaspoons heaping of salt
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 oz fresh yeast
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation of Flavorful Bread
You can make the dough with a stand mixer or by hand, in the second case it will take longer, but the bread will be just as good.
In the stand mixer, put the flour, add the water and yeast starting to knead at medium speed, add the salt, extra virgin olive oil, oregano, and garlic and continue at medium speed.
When the dough becomes a smooth and homogeneous ball, it will be ready.
If the mixture is not solid enough, you can add more flour or on the contrary, if it is too dry, you will add water.
Take the mixture and let it rise in a covered bowl in a warm place for 1 hour or a little more.
After the time has passed, take the mixture again, shape the bread into a long form, make diagonal cuts on the surface of the bread, then brush the surface with e.v.o. oil and let it rise again for another hour.
